Dear Community,
We know that election results have brought a wave of emotions—including fear for what lies ahead—especially for our immigrant and refugee communities.
At EMAC, we are here for you and will continue to stand fearlessly alongside our immigrant and refugee communities in Stockton and across the nation now and as things unfold with the next administration.
We are unwavering in our commitment to support you, and, just like during Trump’s first term, we will continue to work with our partners, allies, and all community members locally, statewide, and across the United States to protect and fight for our immigrant and refugee rights. EMAC was founded in 2017 due to Trump’s policies.
Additionally, we acknowledge that our work is rooted in the value of collective liberation, and we know that true justice and freedom are only possible when we unite in solidarity across communities and issues of injustice.
We can’t do this without you.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or if we can support you in any way and continue to stay in contact with us as we navigate the times ahead. Finally, stay tuned on ways you can join the fight.
With Love,
Empowering Marginalized Asian Communities
